Westborough High School

Student Chapter in Massachusetts, United States
Nylah Ahmed
President

Hi everyone! I'm soon to be a rising senior in high school, and was apart of Karing Frontiers this past year. The experience was like nothing I've ever done before, and conversing with my student abroad was an incredibly eye-opening experience. This fall, I'm opening a club at my school so that others too can participate in this incredibly unique program, which will not only spread awareness to the Karen student's situation, but will also support them through fundraising.

Joanna Jiao
Vice-President

Hey everyone! I started volunteering for Karing Frontiers when I started my junior year of high school, and now I’m a senior. I first found out about the program through a friend, and as I got to know my student and the story of the people living in Karen state, I grew to love what this initiative stands for and started a chapter at our high school with Nylah. We hope to raise money and garner more support for the Karen students in need, connecting youth who are from across the world by bridging the empathy gap.
